Debian: Tijd loopt een uur voor; Ubuntu: Daar klopt het.

Ik maak gebruik van Debian en Ubuntu. Eerst had ik de tijd goed ingesteld (in Debian). Daarna heb ik Ubuntu gereboot. Daarna terug naar Debian met het gevolg dat de tijd in Debian een uur voor staat.
Ligt dit aan Debian of aan Ubuntu?
In beide systemen staat hij op Amsterdam ingesteld. Ik vermoed dat de tijd die in de BIOS staat door Ubuntu word aangepast naar GMT+1. Als ik bij Debian de tijd instel, vermoed ik dat hij de BIOS op UTC insteld. Met het gevolg dat Debian een uur er bij op doet om tot UTC+1 te komen.

Installeer ntp. Doe ik bijna altijd meteen bij een installatie van Debian.
Verder zou je als dat niet helpt met het root account met dpkg-reconfigure timezone iets kunnen proberen als het installeren van ntp niet helpt.

Het was nodig om op beide systemen ntp te installeren. Soms moet ik even wachten voordat het goed word weergeven.
