libusb ubuntu 11.10
« Gepost op: 2011/10/20, 09:43:15 »
Sedert de upgrade van 11.04 naar 11.10 loopt er iets fout met libusb.
Ik 'had' een goed werkende Canon scanner LIDE 210 onder de vorige versie.
Volgende geeft een herkenning via usb poort.

Volgende commande kon ik vroeger wel uitvoeren.
seghers@wizards:~$ sudo apt-get update

Volgende geeft duidelijk een probleem met "libusb not available"
seghers@wizards:~$ sudo sane-find-scanner -v
This is sane-find-scanner from sane-backends 1.0.22

  # sane-find-scanner will now attempt to detect your scanner. If the
  # result is different from what you expected, first make sure your
  # scanner is powered up and properly connected to your computer.

libusb not available
  # No USB scanners found. If you expected something different, make sure that
  # you have loaded a kernel driver for your USB host controller and have setup
  # the USB system correctly. See man sane-usb for details.
  # SANE has been built without libusb support. This may be a reason
  # for not detecting USB scanners. Read README for more details.

  # Not checking for parallel port scanners.

  # Most Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports
  # can't be detected by this program.

Hoe kan ik libusb "available" maken?
