Hoe kom je daar nu bij? GetDeb is voor Ubuntu, niet voor Mint. Ik gebruik het al sinds 2008 op Ubuntu.
Staat zelfs op de website:
GetDeb is an unofficial project with the mission to provide the latest open source and freeware applications for the current Ubuntu Linux release, in an easy to install manner.

Getdeb.net apps en games zijn als pakketbronnen standaard meegeleverd bij Linux-mint (in de Softwarebronnen ),en dat is niet zo bij Ubuntu (moet je zelf handmatig toevoegen ).

Deze staan in Linux-mint trouwens standaard uitgevinkt  :)
