ac3 dts passthrough ubuntu 9.10

Ik zit al weken te zoeken en te puzelen om ac3 / dts passthrough werkent te krijgen. Ik heb onder tussen zo veel gelezen dat ik door de bomen het bos niet meer zie.

Ik heb de digitale uitgang wel werkent maar dan alleen stereo. Als ik een film start dan zie ik dat mijn versterker in eerste instantie wel omschakeld naar dts maar meteen weer terug schakeld naar stereo.

Wie kan mij verder helpen of ben ik dan toch weer aan gewezen op windows. Dit laatste wil ik eigenlijk niet.
