Wat betekent onderstaand uitschrift ?

Zijn dit een (1) of twee soundcards? (device 0 & device 4 ?)
Er is echter maar een (1) card 0 (?)

IEC958 is de officiële naam voor S/PDIF. Je hebt dus een S/PDIF-kaart in je computer.

Device 0 is je geluidskaart, of eigenlijk de "brug" naar je geluidschip (die tegenwoordig eerder een Codec wordt genoemd, dit is ook het subdevice wat wordt aangegeven).
Device 4 is de "brug" naar je S/PDIF uitgang zoals Cumulus007 al aangaf.
