Ik heb al vijf jaar een computer met twee schermen, heeft zowel onder Windows als onder Ubuntu (dual boot) goed gewerkt in "xinerama" mode. (Doorlopend breed beeld).
Heb pas nu alleen Ubuntu8.04 geinstaleerd (windows eruit), en kan via de GUI alleen maar mijn monitoren zetten in "kloon" mode, dus beiden het zelfde beeld.
Veel gezocht op internet en in het forum, heb niets nuttigs kunnen vinden. Wel dat er iets in de file:
/etc/X11/xorg.conf veranderd moet worden.
Blijkbaar zijn de drivers bekend (het systeem werkt in "clone mode" goed, alleen moet ,denk ik, ergens aangegeven worden dat het om "xinerama mode" gaat. Hoe
