Mijn Vodafone E3730 wordt wel herkent (zo lijkt het), maar verbinding maken lukt niet.

Helaas not steeds hetzelfde probleem.. Is er iemand die ├╝berhaupt dezelfde kaart heeft en mij misschien kan helpen? Misschien zijn de standaard instelling voor "Vodafone (business)" in Ubuntu niet correct en moet ik iets wijzigen?

De connectie wordt iig gestart, er wordt geprobeerd verbinding te maken, maar het mislukt. Al gegoogled?

Natuurlijk. Maar het zou me niks verbazen als ik niet de juiste zoektermen gebruik. Wel heb ik gevonden hoe ik iets meer output krijg dan wat in syslog te vinden is: networkmanager killen en de volgende opdracht uitvoeren:

Dat verteld me alleen niet veel meer dan dat de dailing timeout optreed als het nummer verstuurd wordt. :S

Dit is met de standaard ingevulde waarde "*99#" bij "number" in network manager. Als ik dat verander in het nummer van mijn vodafone sim in the kaart (064675**** -- laatste cijfers vervangen door sterretjes voor deze post), lijkt er iets meer te gebeuren en duurt het iets langer. Het uiteindelijke resultaat is hetzelfde: geen verbinding.

Mijn probleem leek hetzelfde te zijn. Het was opgelost door rond het nummer ook letterlijk de aanhalingstekens in te vullen, dus niet *99***1# maar ook echt "*99***1#".

Spijtig dat deze informatie zo'n 8 maanden te laat komt. Inmiddels het ik het abonnement opgezegd.
