numlock, xp, sunburd,....

ik loop tegen een aantal 'probleempjes' aan, namelijk:

- het lukt me niet om in pakketbeheer numlock aan te zetten. Hij kan als ik dat woord bij de zoekfunctie type het zelfs niet eens vinden.
- als ik de computer aanzet start ubuntu automatisch op, vind mn vrouw op dit moment nog niet echt handig. Ik wilde dit veranderen via pakketbeheer, zoekterm startupmanager, maar ook die kon hij niet vinden
- kan ik via ubuntu mijn agenda uit xp (sunburd) bekijken of synchroniseren?
- kan ik mn profiel van Firefox uit xp binnen ubuntu firefox kopieren/plakken?

Het is numlockx, maakt niet uit heb je alle repro's aanstaan?
In synaptic tab instellingen>pakketbronnen eerste tab de eerste 5 aanvinken tweede tab alles aanvinken. Herladen drukken en zoeken.

Ik heb in pakketbeheer gedaan wat je zei, maar met het zoeken vindt hij niet wat hij moet vinden.
Hij zegt overigens dat er 24973 pakketten zijn.

Post anders is de uitkomst van sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list in de terminal

Korha heb je wel op Herladen gedrukt in Synaptic? Na het aanviken, dan zouden de pakketten binnen gehaald moeten worden.
Zoniet, hernoem je huidige sources.list naar bijv sources.listres en maak een nieuwe bestand aan met je editor en kopieer en plak mijn lijst daarin. Als het niet werkt kan je je reserve terug zetten.

sudo apt-get install numlockx

dan installeert hij numlockx
waar kan ik het nu vervolgens vinden?

Je hoeft het niet te vinden, na installatie doet numlockx zijn werk vanzelf.  Op magische wijze.  :-)

Volgens mij staat hij dan aangevinkt in synaptic. En dan zou hij automatisch geactiveerd moeten zijn.

Als dat dan nog niet lukt, dan moet je hier eens kijken.

Bij post 6 moet je dan kijken. Er staat daar wel een klein foutje in mbt de locatie. Maar iets verder naar beneden staat de goede.

Thanks voor het meedenken allemaal. Met:

Heb alleen nog de vraag of ik de agenda van sunbird kan synchroniseren (via XP) ofzo, zelfde geldt voor Firefox.
Is dat mogelijk?

Het is me gelukt om via bladwijzers onder xp / bladwijzers organiseren / importeren reservekopie maken, deze over te brengen naar ubuntu / firefox

daar ga je namelijk vervolgens het .html bestandje die je onder xp hebt aangemaakt importeren via / bladwijzers / bladwijzers organiseren etc etc

Hetzelfde is me nog niet gelukt met de gegevens van sunbird, daar wordt namelijk bij ubuntu om een .ics bestand gevraagd, terwijl ik via xp een .html bestand heb gekregen.
Iemand een idee?!

Kan je in Sunbird in XP niet exporteren naar .ics? Lijkt me van wel aangezien Sunbird cross-platform is en .ics best wel standaar is...
