Hi all,
I have a PIII 500Mhz/ 256Mram computer, and i installed xubuntu a few days ago.
First I tried the normal ubuntu, but that was a bit to slow for me.
Now for browsing the net i have got firefox 3 installed as a standard, but this is going a bit slow.
I have read about a tool called fasterfox, but this is only for firefox 2.
So i tried to downgrade, but as i am a complete newby to all of the linux stuff i just dont seem to get it installed the right way.
can someone tell me how this is done (the easiest way)
Also, is xubuntu (the newest from the site) right for my system? or do i best download some older version for better performance?
Waiting to hear something
Jan
