Dankzij een reactie van Frank en dit bericht op het weblog van existence trainer is het probleem van crashende browsers i.c.m. flash nog veel beter opgelost. Er schijnt een probleem te bestaan met toetsenbord invoer in flash applicaties maar ik speel geen online flash games. Hier alsnog een quote van het bewuste bericht:
* Download the new Flash 10 beta player from here to your home directory and unzip it.
* Remove 'flashplugin-nonfree' and 'libflashsupport' using Synaptic
* Using the command line: mkdir ~/.mozilla/plugins/ (if it is not already there)
* cp ~/install_flash_player_10_linux/libflashplayer.so ~/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
* Using Synaptic, make sure you have the latest of the following installed: 'alsa-base', 'pulseaudio', and 'libasound2-plugins'
* Then create and edit ~/.asoundrc and add:
pcm.pulse {
type pulse
}
ctl.pulse {
type pulse
}
pcm.!default {
type pulse
}
ctl.!default {
type pulse
}
restart you're browser.
dit betreft de workaround die gestart was
In een terminal geef je de volgende 4 commando's:
wget
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13470096/nspluginwrapper_0.9.91.5-2ubuntu2_i386.deb(bovenstaande opdracht als 1 regel in je terminal plaatsen)
sudo dpkg -i nspluginwrapper_0.9.91.5-2ubuntu2_i386.deb
sudo apt-get remove --purge flashplugin-nonfree
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
Zoals je kan zien aan het 1e commando is dit een oplossing voor een 32 bits
