cartreader niet te vinden

Goede avond,

Ik heb drie cartreaders en die vind ubuntu niet. Cartreader 1 zit ingebouwd in me pc, die vind hij niet, terwijl diskette en dvd brander juist wel. De tweede zit ingebouwd in me hp2575 printer. ik kan wel foto's inladen, maar niks terugsturen. en de derde is een hama 35 in 1 plug and pray reader, die ziet hij helemaal niet.

Ik kan de zoekfunctie op forum nog steeds niet gebruiken, daarom maar even een topic. Heeft iemand een idee, hoe ik dit kan oplossen? Ik wil verkeer/data heen en weer kunnen sturen.

Ha Martin, allereerst, het is inderdaad vervelend dat de ingebouwde zoekfunctie niet werkt maar je kunt de google zoekfunctie van deze pagina ook gebruiken, helemaal rechts boven aan deze pagina. (tip: spel het woord cardreader met een letter 'd')

Als je in een terminal venster het commando lsusb ingeeft, worden de apparaten wellicht zichtbaar. Je kunt hier de uitkomst plaatsen. (Wat betreft je printer heb ik geen idee)

Alleen Belkin komt mij onbekend voor. Sitecom is me bleutooth ontvanger, en logitech is me muis. (printer is trouwens verbonden met me router, dus die staat er logische wijs er niet bij)

De cardreader in de hp2575 is voor zover ik weet alleen bedoeld om te unloaden. Dus foto's vanaf het kaartje te printen of naar je computer te halen (zo gebruik ik hem tenminste) Niet voor uploaden naar het kaartje.

me cardreader in me pc ingebouwd ook niet, denk ik. als ik er een kaart in doet, geef tie niks aan, en onder locaties ziet hij geen kaart. de hama cardreader word wel herkend door xp op me andere pc.

Goede avond,

In de rommelbak vond ik nog een oude sandisk cardreader voor win 98. het rare is, deze doet niks op xp, wel onder ubuntu. ik denk dat hama niet word ondersteund en die cardreader in me pc, over de huizen is. maar zo is ook opgelost.

Ik starte vanmiddag me pc, en toen herkende hij de hama wel. de inbouw cardreader van me pc nog steeds niet. En hoe dit ineens komt, geen idee.

Hoi,ik heb ook een probleem met mijn cardreader het is een alles in een lezer.
Deze zit ingebouwd in mijn pc.
Maar mijn sdcard van 4gb wordt niet herkend als extra opslagmedium.
Althans ik kan nergens een extra sda drive vinden bij de mount.
Het lampje van de usb2.0 aansluiting brand constant op mijn kaartlezer.
Wanneer ik mijn sdcard in het daarvoor bestemde slot steek brand er even een ander lampje wel even,en gaat dan weer uit.
Voor de duidelijkheid ik heb een Asus p5k-vm moederbord.
Core 2 duo E8200 processor 2,66 ghz 6mb cache op een bussnelheid van 1333 mhz
daarop 4gb intern geheugen.
Samsung 320gb hd
Lite-on dvdbrander lh-20a1s

goed wat gpar2 is dat weet ik wel,maar die draait niet op het moment,maar als ik er mee werk dan doet dat programma het gewoon wel goed,met bestanden van de nieuwsgroepen repareren.
Dus daar kan het niet aan liggen.
Voor de duidlijkheid werk ik dus met Ubuntu Hardy X64 8.0.4.1
Wie o wie kan mij misschien antwoord geven,bedankt.

het schijnt niet te werken een cardreader onder Linux op het moment.
Het is uitgezocht,mijn broertje werkt al jaren met Linux en heeft alsmaar zitten vogelen om een cardreader aan de praat te krijgen met Linux,maar te vergeefs.
Wat wel kan is een sdcard in een verloopstukje plaatsen,ik bedoel dat er een verloopstukje bestaat dat je een sdcard in een usb poort kan doen,dan kan je je sdcard gebruiken als usbstick en dan werkt alles ineens wel.
Merkwaardig,dat het niet gewoon werkt,maar alleen op deze weg.
Kennelijk is het niemand nog gelukt om de kernel van Linux zo aan te passen dat een cardreader gewoon ook moet werken.
Misschien is het gewoon niet mogelijk onder Linux,maar goed dat lijkt mij sterk,want met Linux kan je alles bereiken toch?.
Als het met Windows wel zonder problemen werkt,dan moet er echt een tijd komen dat het onder Linux ook gewoon moet gaan lukken.

De cardreader in mijn laptop doet het anders prima. Met Linux zijn cardreaders dus wel mogelijk :)

Bij mij ook. Zowel de ingebouwde kaartlezer in de flaptop, als de losse kaartlezer, werken meteen, uit-de-doos.

Van mijn USB cardreader kan ik mij niet herinneren dat ie het ooit niet deed, en de ingebouwde cardreader in mijn laptop (sony vaio vgn n11s) doet het al sinds Feisty, en dan ook nog eens sneller dan in windows, hoe dat kan weet ik ook niet, maar je hoort mij niet klagen ;-)

Hoi,ik heb iets heel raars ondekt.
Mijn interne kaartlezer doet het toch wel met Linux na verbazend even het opnieuw getest te hebben.
Want ik ben toch op het volgende probleem gestuit.
Ik heb een 64mb sd kaartje getest in mijn kaartlezer en die pakt hij wel ineens gewoon.
Stop ik mijn 4gb sd kaartje in mijn kaartlezer,dan wordt deze ineens niet herkend.
Moet ik dan misschien ergens wat in een configuratiebestand veranderen en zo welke,om te veranderen dat het ook gewoon met mijn 4gb sdkaartje gaat werken?.
