grub herinstalleren

Ik zal mijn probleem wel even als nieuw onderwerp in het forum zetten...
Want mijn vorige topic is inmiddels al lang genoeg. Ik ben grub kwijt dat is mijn probleem. Op internet vond ik deze instructies om het terug te krijgen via de ubuntu installatiecd:

1. Boot your computer up with Ubunto CD
2. Go through all the process until you reech "[!!!] Disk Partition"
3. Select Manual Partition
4. Mount your appropriate linux partions

/
/boot
swap
.....

5. DO NOT FORMAT THEM.
6. Finish the manual partition
7. Say "Yes" when it asks you to save the changes
8. It will give you errors saying that "the system couldn't install ....." after that
9. Ignore them, keep select "continue" until you get back to the Ubuntu installation menu
10. Jump to "Install Grub ...."
11. Once it is finished, just restart your computer

Ik sap stap 4 niet wat moet je nou precies mounten?

weet je op welke partie je root staat?  
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/arch-latest/i386/iso-cd/debian-testing-i386-businesscard.iso
Deze iso kan je dan gebruiken
Je ziet nu een scherm van debian verschijnen je typt
rescue root=/dev/hdax (x vervangen door jouw letter)
en als linux is opgestart lgo je in, en typ je grub-install /dev/hda

De intructies die jij gevonden hebt moeten denk ik ook werken maar ik ben niet zeker.

Als Ubuntu op je pc stond moet je zo veel mogenlijk alles laten zoals 't is.
Je wil niets veranderen en gewoon Grub terug installeren dus laat alle instellingen zoals ze zijn.
Controleer of al je partities er nog zijn en zorg dat ze 't zelfdee formaat hebben als ervoor maar je mag ze niet formateren.
