Wordt je kaart herkend? Als je in een terminal venster lspci typt, wat is dan de uitkomst?
Een optie kan zijn om te wisselen van ALSA naar OSS in het menu >Systeem >Voorkeuren >Geluid

Ik kan wel muziek afspelen; alleen heb ik geen systeemgeluiden bij starten etc, kan ze ook niet krijgen. Ik gebruik overigens de usb controller voor alle mzuiekfiles. Hier volgen de gegevens over mijn geluidskaart:
