resolutieprobleem

Soms heb ik proberen met men resolutie van men scherm ik moet 1440 x 900 hebben en als ik uit mijn schermbeveiling kom dan zit ik op
1440 x 1024 elke keer.

Wanneer ik mijn pc 10 keer herstart blijft men scherm ok 1440 x 900.

blijkbaar is het soms dat mijn pc in schermbeveiliging springt en dan er terug uit komt dan dan het probleem ontstaat.

Ligt dit aan mijn videokaart ik heb een nvidia geforce 6600.

Al die modelines kloppen volgens mij niet helemaal.
Ik zie ook de juiste resolutie die je wil hebben er niet tussen staan.
Probeer je scherm eens in te stellen via sudo nvidia-settings

Johan gewoon in terminalvenster sudo nvidiasettings ingeven dan krijg ik dit :

resolutie stond op auto heb hem op 1440 x 900 gezet en moet ik dan op "save to  X configuration file" klikken of wat?
