Waarom moeilijk doen als het makkelijk ook kan. Newspost kun je gewoon installeren m.b.v. synaptic. Kwestie van de juiste bronnen aan je sources.list toe voegen.

Nee ik heb niet de terminal geopend als root!
Strakkies nog maar even proberen!

Newspost zit gewoon in Synaptic!
Waarom zou je dan zo moeilijk doen, en mogelijk je systeem minder veilig maken of zelfs slopen?

sudo apt-get install newspost

Of via synaptic.
