Notificaties. Waar vandaan?

Ik heb hier een vreemde notificatie gehad op mijn Arch Linux systeem. Kan iemand mij zeggen hoe ik kan zien waar vandaan deze is geplaatst. Het gaat om gnome 40.5 Desktop omgeving.

Ik vraag mij af vanuit welk programma. Is het mogelijk dat het van buiten af komt? Ben ik ergens op een site ingelogd? Of kan het een hacker zijn?

De vraag blijft wat was die "vreemde notificatie"dan, wat werd er weergegeven? Aan vage posts hebben we niets aan. Dus zonder dat  verduidelijkt te hebben van jou kant uit, kunnen we weinig betekenen in het geven van support.

Het was een persoonlijk bericht. Inhoudelijk niets met Linux of programma's van doen. Daarom wil ik het niet delen. Omdat het persoonlijk is denk ik dat het van buiten komt.
Kan Firefox een notificatie plaatsen. Misschien ergens ingelogd of per ongeluk aangeklikt dat website een notificatie mag geven.

Notificaties komen inderdaad van programma's die geïnstalleerd zijn. Kijk eens wat je allemaal geïnstalleerd hebt wat dergelijke notificaties zou kunnen genereren. Zoals Paul zegt: je kan dat per programma afzetten.

In firefox stond een goedkeuring van een site. Hij is verwijdert.
