Weet iemand hoe een HP LaserJet printer te installeren op Ubuntu 20.04?

Helaas doet hij het niet automatisch direkt uit de doos... 
Ik heb een HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw. Ik heb HPLIP gedownload. Om dat via de terminal te installeren aan de hand van de deze stappen lukt niet  https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/install/install/index   (ik dacht dat ik het eigenlijk al geinstalleerd had).
Bestand staat op bureaublad, maar terminal geeft aan hem niet te kunnen openen.

Installeer dan ook hplip-gui, daarmee is alles grafisch in te stellen met de muis.

Dat hoeft natuurlijk hier niet het geval te zijn, maar......

Interessant Peter. Vraag is dan of dat bestanddeel zou moeten verwijderen, en zoja hoe.

HPLIP installatie werkte oké, maar printer wordt nog steeds niet herkend. Bij lsusb zie ik alle apparaten, maar nog steeds niet de printer...

De printer is er in HPLIP 3.18.9 al bijgekomen (https://sourceforge.net/p/hplip/news/2018/09/hplip-3187-release-notes/ ) dus daar zal het niet aan liggen....

O dat is in ieder geval goed om te weten, Ronaldus.

Maar waarom hij niet wordt gedetecteerd blijft een raadsel!

Misschien computer aan, dan pas usb stekker erin en printer aanzetten. Of usb er nog eens uit en indoen. Misschien een optie in het menu van de printer of wifi in de printer op uit zetten?
Evt. nog eens proberen met een live usb-stick met Ubuntu en kijken wat er dan gebeurd?
