HPLIP probleem

Ubuntu 18.10
Krijg twee problemen:
1) warning: Failed to install this Scanjet dependency package. Some Scanjet features will not work.
2) No systemtrayicon available.

Kan men dit oplossen?
 ???

Waarom gebruik je een pakket buiten de Ubuntu repositries om?
Gewoon in een terminal sudo apt install hplip-gui en alles zou moeten werken........

hplip-gui is reeds de nieuwste versie (3.18.7+dfsg1-2ubuntu2).
0 opgewaardeerd, 0 nieuw geïnstalleerd, 0 te verwijderen en 0 niet opgewaardeerd.

Dit geeft nog steeds geen oplossing tot de steeds wederkerende melding :
HPLIP Status Service
No system tray detected on this system
Unable to start, exiting.
 ???

Misschien een keer de printer verwijderen en opnieuw installeren?

Beetje laat maar ik vond deze oplossing:

Verwijder dit bestandje:

etc/xdg/autostart/hplip-systray.desktop
Je ziet wel wat een ander heeft, maar je ziet niet wat hij mist.

OS: Ubuntu Gnome 18.04/Xubuntu 18.04; Windows 10 (dualboot) RPI: Ubuntu Mate; Asus 1005PE: Linux Lite 3.8
