Installatie Terratec DVB-T XXS [solved]

Hallo,

Sinds een klein jaar ben ik langzaam maar zeker volledig aan het overschakelen van Windows naar Ubuntu. Op dit moment gebruik ik m'n windowspartitie nog enkel als 'reserve' als er iets mis is met Ubuntu, en om TV te kijken via m'n Terratec DVB usb-stick.

Ik heb de voorbije drie dagen talloze keren geprobeerd om het ding aan de praat te krijgen via de informatie die ik heb gevonden op een forum van linuxtv, maar het lukt gewoon niet. Het komt er op neer dat je via de terminal de firmware,... en een heleboel zaken moet downloaden om die dan te vervolledigen met 'make' en 'make install'. Vanaf 'make' beginnen de problemen: alles lijkt goed te gaan en na een minuut of drie komt er een 'fout',..

Ik zou dit ding heel graag kunnen gebruiken op mijn Ubuntu 9.10 (zo moet ik niet steeds inloggen in windows), maar voorlopig lukt't gewoon niet.. Ik ben een dummie op't gebied van het zelf compileren enz..., dus kan er mij iemand stap voor stap helpen?

ok,

ben dit dus aan het proberen maar tot nu toe nog geen beterschap. haal ik de broncode best binnen via mercury of gewoon tarballen? en: is er een command waarmee ik al mijn voorgaande pogingen kan uitwissen? als dit gebeurd is ga ik nog een keer proberen en dan geef ik het op. ik dacht dat je de fout gevonden had (ik heb een dualcore maar deed altijd gewoon 'make'). Klopt het overigens dat je daar een foutje hebt gemaakt en dat die 'make jN' bij dualcore 'make -j3' moet zijn ipv make -jN3?

Ja, geïnstalleerd is ie eindelijk , nu nog even zien hoe dat allemaal werkt, op dit moment scant ie maar vindt ie niks...

Hartelijk dank voor de hulp, ik vraag me dikwijls af waar jullie het halen, maar het werkt dus, de zenders worden gescand,... én ik kan kijken. ik moet nu enkel nog een programma vinden dat niet crashgevoelig is. zit op GNOME en kaffeine wil niet. MeTV werkt wel, maar is een beetje stroef in behandeling, ik vind misschien nog wel iets beters.

Maar in elk geval merci, je hebt me nog een reden minder gegeven om in te loggen op windows

ja, googlen, dat heb ik wel geleerd sinds ik met ubuntu werk , maar had dit echt nergens gevonden. kaffeine crasht vanaf ik een zender open, begint nog niet te spelen zelfs... MeTv werkt, maar zappen is stroef en naar kanaal x kijken terwijl je kanaal y opneemt, gaat niet. ik zoek nog een betere player, komt wel in orde
