Beste ubuntu gebruikers,

Ik gebruik op dit moment kubuntu.
Wanneer ik programma toevoegen/verwijderen klik en adept installer start klopt alles nog.
Zodra ik bijvoorbeeld in het zoek vakje chess intype en uit de vele mogelijkheden een software aanvink.
Komt er een een installatie scherm die na vrijwel 5% een fout aangegeven en wordt de installatie afgebroken.

foutmelding:
er is een fout opgetreden bij het doorvoeren van wijzegingen. er is mogelijk een probleem bij het downloaden van enkele pakketten of het doorvoeren zal enkele pakketten breken.

Zou iemand mij willen helpen om dit te kunnen op te lossen?

open eens een konsole (onder systeem) en voer in:

kate /etc/apt/sources.list

en post dat tekstbestand hier. Dan kunnen we kijken of je installatiebronnen in orde zijn.

Hallo, ik herken dat probleem niet maar je zou kunnen proberen om de database van de installer opnieuw in te lezen. Het is ook mogelijk dat een van de ftp-servers waar adept de software vandaan haalt, tijdelijk even plat is.

daarnaast doet nu de adept manager niet meer...ik krijg nu deze foutmelding:

Krijgt iedereen wanneer er meerde dingen openstaan die kunnen installeren.
Bijv. Synaptic en de grafische installer tegelijk.

Of synaptic staat open en je typt dat commande in het terminal venster.
Dus dat is vrij normaal.

Sluit alles en houd alleen terminal venster open.

zodra ik de eerste code intype komt dit:

Zou het moeten zijn.

Als je onder ubuntu root wil worden doe je dat met sudo -i
Of voor een enkel commando gewoon met sudo commando.
De root account is ook default uitgeschakeld.

Uiteraad heb ik dit geprobeerd, je kunt het op twee manieren maken, beide manieren heb ik gprobeerd maar lukt niet, het geeft een fout aan waardoor ik tussen 3 opties kan kiezen namelijk: retry,abrove,ignore... retry heb ik meerdere malen geprobeerd maar lukt echt niet

Hé hezen_met_de_lange_naam, jouw systeem is volgens mij behoorlijk verheen&weerd, kun je het niet opnieuw installeren? Je verliest veel tijd aan iets 'weirds' volgens mij....

als er geen andere optie is, wil ik wel mijn systeem opnieuw installeren.
maar ben bang dat mijn duaal boot os stuk gaat.
wat zijn jullie advies, op welke manier kan ik dit het beste aanpakken?

Een nieuwe installatie is vrij simpel.

Via de live cd opnieuw installeren, kiezen voor handmatig schijf indelen.
Je hebt departitie's al ingedeeld van de oude install.

Dus je hoeft alleen maar aan te wijzen welke partitie voor wat envervolgens die partities formateren.

nu gebruikt hij wederom die partitie's en normaal gesproken ben je in 25 minuutjes klaar.

Neemt niet weg dat wat je nu meemaakt een mooi leerproces is.

Vraag me eigenlijk nog steeds af hoe je dit voor elkaar gekregen hebt

Ubuntu is aardig hufterproof, dus snap het niet

Ik heb toevallig gisteren Ubuntu opnieuw geïnstalleerd, had ook iets "weirds". Mijn systeem heeft twee partities, een root (/) van 20 GB en een /home van 230 GB. Op de laatste staan - uiteraard - m'n data. Ik heb alleen de root-partitie opnieuw geformatteerd en daar vervolgens Ubuntu op geherinstalleerd. Installatie neemt zo'n 30 minuten in beslag, het herinstalleren van allerhande programmatuur (digikam, amarok, thunderbird, etc.) nog eens een half uur. Na 1 uur was mijn systeem weer voor meer dan 90% in de lucht. Mail en afspraken alsmede bookmarks in Firefox waren allemaal present, dankzij die /home-dir. Na 2 uur deed vrijwel alles het weer, behalve mijn virtuele machines. Maar ook dat is inmiddels bijna hersteld. Misschien een tip dus om altijd een / en een /home te maken.

als ge uw virtuele harddisks ook op uw home zet, is het gewoon kwestie van virtualbox terug opnieuw te installeren (+-5 min werk), virtualbox opstarten en uw virtuele machines staan gewoon terug in de lijst...

het rare is dat mijn VM's niet in een lijst verschijnen, als ik virtualbox opnieuw installeer, is de lijst leeg. Ik moet dan een nieuwe VM aanmaken, waaraan ik een bestaande virtuele harde schijf koppel (met dus bijv. Fedora 8 erop). Daarna werkt de machine weer, maar ik heb er een stuk of acht en dat is toch even wat configuratiewerk. Doe ik hier iets verkeerd soms?
