Linux mint op laptop: kan alleen booten als hij op netstroom is aangesloten.

Hier een systeem van Linux Mint Ulyssa. Ik kan alleen booten als hij aan de stroom hangt. Als ik op de batterij boot loopt hij vast.

Hoe kan dat hij niet op de batterij wil booten?
Wat kan ik eraan doen om het vastlopen te voorkomen?

1) - Heb je de batterijstatus al eens gecontroleerd ?

Batterij is 97 procent vol. Na inloggen is de laptop wel op batterij te gebruiken.

Het is opgelost door kernel parameter nomodeset toe te voegen in /etc/default/grub

Nadeel is dat ik nu het bericht krijg dat hardware acceleratie uit staat. Maar glxinfo geeft aan dat direct rendering op yes staat.
