Ja hier ben ik, nieuw op dit forum .
Ben nu 14 dagen aan het oefenen met "ubuntu" is heel leuk en steek er veel van op.
Maar er is iets mis gegaan sinds twee dagen een fout melding als ik een cd/dvd met eigen software wil gebruiken of van een fabrikant en ook een usb stick geeft deze fout.

Mijn vraag wat is de oplossing voor dit probleem.

.exe kan Ubuntu niet uitvoeren, hiervoor heb je wine nodig, die je kan installeren in het ubuntu softwarescherm. Ik kopieer de cd altijd op mijn bureaublad zodat ik de rechten kan wijzigen.

Software and software installers in Ubuntu need to be marked as "executable" in order to be treated as runnable programs. This indicates to Ubuntu that the file is actually software and is trusted. Normally and preferably software should be installed using the Ubuntu Software Center which is the primary source of software in Ubuntu.

You should only mark a file as executable via the file permissions if you know what you are doing.

Files from outside the supported software repository are not marked as "executable" since they did not get installed via a trusted source. Because of this, attempting to open/run downloaded files that are software will fail. These files are blocked for security reasons to help unsuspecting users avoid malware (i.e. malicious software like trojan horses, worms, and viruses).

Ubuntu Policy requires that software not marked as executable not be runnable. One of the most common ways you will see this is by having a package ship a .desktop file for a MimeType which executes the target file (.EXE, .JAR, etc). This is not allowed unless the target file is already executable (or installed by a trusted software repository).

Wat kan ik hier aan doen.

Ik moet hierbij aan tekenen dat mijn engels erg belabbert is en het vertalen doet met "bigbrother" google

Het advies opvolgen.  Programma's installeren werkt onder Ubuntu anders dan onder Windows.
Lees dit maar eens.
In het Ubuntu softwarecentrum (te vinden onder menu Toepassingen) en Synaptic pakketbeheer (te vinden onder menu Systeem, Beheer) vind je duizenden programma's die, voordat ze daarin terechtkwamen, zijn getest op veiligheid en stabiliteit. Je hoeft dus niet zelf op het internet op zoek naar een bepaald programma.

Ik weet niet precies wat voor .exe-bestand je probeert te installeren (een acculader?  ), maar ook zelf drivers installeren is vaak niet nodig, Ubuntu herkent de meeste hardware automatisch.

Rechtermuisknop op het bestand Eigenschappen>Rechten>Uitvoeren van bestand toestaan aanvinken.

Je moet de cd eventueel op de hardeschijf kopieeren!
