Gebruikersbeheer werkt niet meer

Als ik in kubuntu 8.04 gebruikersbeheer wil starten lukt dit niet meer en krijg ik de melding dat er iets is misgegaan tijdens de laatste upgrade van KDE.

Dit klopt ook want afgelopen zondag zag ik tijdens de update een foutmelding over mijn scherm gaan dat er pakketten niet goed waren gedownload.

apt-get update geeft ook in de laatste regel een melding dat een pakket niet gevonden kan worden.

Iemand enig idee hoe dit is op te lossen?

Geef de foutmelding in sudo apt-get update eens?

En doe vervolgens sudo apt-get upgrade en geef ook de eventuele foutmelding.

Na sudo apt-get update krijg ik onderstaand.

Ik heb inmiddels alle servers geprobeert met steeds het zelfde resultaat.

Kan je de inhoud van /etc/apt/sources.list hier plaatsen? Zo te zien zit daar een fout in.

Zo te zien heb je ook de proposed updates aan staan, die kunnen voor veel problemen zorgen.
Zet die eens uit.
Verder staan ze een beetje door elkaar, dat maakt het ook lastiger om te bepalen wat er mis is.

Open het bestand:
kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list

En vervang die door dit:

Ik heb de sources.list vervangen en inderdaad is de foutmelding na sudo apt-get update verdwenen, maar het probleem waar dit topic over gaat is hiermede nog niet opgelost.
Als ik naar systeeminstellingen ga en klik op gebruikers beheer krijg ik nog steeds een scherm waarop staat dat gebruikersbeheer niet kon worden geladen.

Er staat dan dat er oude configuratie modules zijn achtergebleven tijdens de laatste keer dat ik kde opwaardeerde of u heeft oude modules van andere projecten in uw configuratiecentrum.
