terminal werkt irritant

Hoi,

mn terminal werkt irritatant (gnome-terminal). Normaal als je pijltje omhoog doet krijg je het laatst ingevoerde commando, ik krijg:

 ^[OH

End :

 ^[OF

Daarnaast staat er geen computer of usernaam voor het $ teken....

herinstalleren? er zal wel een oplossing voor zijn...niet direct opnieuw gaan installeren...

ctr+c haalt niks uit.

Het probleem ligt breder, hetzelfde probleem in xterm of konsole...

HEb het probleem nadat ik een nieuwe user heb aangemaakt...

ahja, had te snel gelezen...

hmm, bljkbaar is dat de oorzaak, die nieuwe user, dat is toch al iets...dan zoekt het ook wat makkelijker:

Heb het opgelost door in de users-admin   tav de terminal: bin/sh verandert in bin/bash


Ja je moet nog wel het een en ander doen om een nieuwe user met rootrechten goed te configureren...
