Add/remove applications

Als ik naar add/remove applications ga krijg ik de volgende error:

This is a major failure of your software management system. Please check for broken packages with synaptic, check the file permissions and correctness of the file '/etc/apt/sources.list' and reload the software information with: 'sudo apt-get update' and 'sudo apt-get install -f'

In synaptic krijg ik ook een error:

E: Type '--21:57:28--' op regel 1 in bronlijst /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list is onbekend
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

Ik heb de regels die in de eerste error staan ingevoerd in de console maar dit werkte niet.
Weet iemand de oplossing voor dit probleem?

Het bestand /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list is misvormd, het best verwijdert ge dit bestand met

Code: [Selecteer]

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.listHierna met

Code: [Selecteer]

sudo apt-get updateje sources opnieuw in laten lezen.

Het werkt weer. Ik had dit nodig om vlc player te installeren maar hierbij krijg ik nu ook een melding:


This application conflicts with other installed software. To install 'vlc' the conflicting software must be removed first.

Switch to the 'synaptic' package manager to resolve this conflict.

Wat moet ik in de package manager doen om dit op te lossen?
