Edit script; Hoe doe ik dit?

In de onderstaande tekst (en nog andere) staat dat ik een script moet editten. Hoe werkt dat?

    * USB on Ubuntu/Gutsy: Ubuntu removed support for /proc/bus/usb/*. We will address this issue in the future. Until this, edit the script `/etc/init.d/mountdevsubfs.sh and activate the four lines around line 40 (Magic to make /proc/bus/usb work). Then execute

      /etc/init.d/mountdevsubfs.sh start

      From now on, there should be a directory /proc/bus/usb/ and the device entries below should be accessible by any user.

Het "activeren" will hoogstwaarschijnlijk zeggen dat je het comment symbool (meestal #) aan het begin van de regel moet verwijderen.

Ik reageer wat laat, ik was even weg. Wil jij eens naar hetgene kijken wat ik wil editten, er staat;

"the four lines around line 40"

Wanneer ik dit doe gebeurt er niets, maar de 4 lijnen indit geheel zijn ook nog al onduidelijk...
