er staan bij mij 36 updates klaar
maar als ik op de update manager klik (oranje vierkantje) en updates installeren krijg ik deze foutmelding:kan veranderingen niet toepassen
u dient eerst de gebroken paketten te repareren

hoe los ik dit op ?

Als je in Synaptic kijkt heb je linksonderin een aantal knoppen om te filteren.
Druk eens op sorteren op status en kijk dan links in het scherm in de categorie broken.
Welke pakketten zijn er precies kapot?
Kan je ze repareren via het menu? (Edit>Fix Broken Packages)

in synaptik zitten geen gebroken paketten

hij geeft dit ook aan,
als ik weer wil updaten (grafisch) geeft hij weer eerst de gebroken paketten repareren

Probeer dit commando dan eens:
sudo apt-get -f install

Hiermee moeten alle gebroken pakketten te repareren zijn.
Je ziet dan in ieder geval om welke pakketten het gaat.

Ik mis alle verwijzingen naar de security updates
Ook maak je gebruik van de internationale server, die trager is dan de Nederlandse.
Bij jouw latere bijdrage zie ik dan weer dat de security updates er wél tussen staan... Ook is de medibuntu repository er ineens bijgekomen.

mensen met sudo apt-get upgrade is nu alles opgelost alles is netjes geinstalleerd.

mijn dank aan            johanvd,              pjotr,             thijssie
die mij geholpen hebben met dit probleem.

als ik het goed begrepen heb klopte mijn source list niet meer .
als mijn linux niet goed werkt ,lijkt kinderachtig ,maar dan krijg ik de kriebels (lees buikpijn).

evaluatie

als jullie nog tijd over hebben op dit forum
graag nog een reactie ,maar help eerst de anderen maar
