Probleem flash

Op de site van pjotr staat dit:

d. Wederom zoekterm: adobe flash
(gebruik niet het snelzoek-veld, maar de zoekknop ernaast)

e. Vink aan: adobe-flashplugin

Druk op knop Toepassen

f. Sluit Synaptic pakketbeheer.

Het probleem is: Ik heb GEEN adobe-flashplugin, alleen Flashblock, flashplugin-nonfree en flashplugin-installer.

Dat stukje is verouderd. adobe-flashplugin bestaat niet meer geloof ik (tenminste, niet in 9.04 en hoger).

Synaptic even herladen? adobe-flashplugin zit namelijk wel degelijk in jaunty partner:

Mits je 32-bits Ubuntu hebt, natuurlijk... Anders zit die er niet bij in die bron.

Nieuwere versie.... de laatste keer dat ik het controleerde, was flashplugin-nonfree verouderd en onveilig (Adobe Flash Player 10.0 r23, uit het hoofd gezegd, terwijl de partner de veilige 10.0 r32 opleverde).

Je wil sowieso uitkijken met scripts als ubuntu-restricted-extras.... die installeert soms verouderde versies. Die wil je dan achteraf bijwerken naar nieuwere versies. Zelfde verhaal bij het multimedia-script voor openSUSE, trouwens.
