Beryl vensterbeheerder...

Nadat ik mijn Xorg enzo heb aangepast. (omdat ik 1280x1024 wou) werkt mijn vensterbeheerder niet meer in beryl. (ik krijg dus niet de balk om te minimaliseren en maximaliseren, sluiten...)

Vensterbeheerder opnieuw laden heb ik al geprobeerd maar werkt ook niet. Nu werk ik dus met de Gnome vensterbeheerder maar had graag die van beryl terug.

Voor alle duidelijkheid, het zijn dus de window borders die weg zijn. (in Gnome zijn ze er wel, vanaf Beryl aanstaat of Compiz dan werkt het niet.)

Iemand een idee?

Ondertussen al geprobeerd van Beryl te herinstalleren maar dit deed niks nieuw, ook eens compiz-fusion geprobeerd maar ook hier niks.

Het probleem moet dan toch aan emerald liggen? Of niet soms?

Weet er iemand of het mogelijk is van COmpiz-fusion te draaien met metacity?

Dus dat je alle functionaliteiten hebt (zoals wapperen enzo) maar dan toch de metacity window border? Dan ben ik al een eind verder denk ik.

Volgens mij kan dit! Even rechtermuisknop op je beryl icoontje bovenin en dan GTK selecteren ervoor ofso.

(ik zit effe in windows omdat ik met photoshop moest werken)

Ja, maar het rare is dat het wapperen enzo ook niet gaat dan. (heb dit vroeger niet uitgeprobeerd dus het kan ook aan het algemene probleem liggen)

Ik heb al veel geprobeerd maar ik krijg die window border maar niet terug in Beryl of Compiz

OK. Dan krijg je zo de vensterranden terug in Beryl:

Toepassingen - Hulpmiddelen - Terminalvenster (kopieer en plak de volgende tekst in de terminal):
sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals

Daarna:
computer volledig herstarten.

Ik ben zelf ooit ook geholpen....  Als ik me goed herinner, kreeg ik deze tip ooit van Leoquant. Ook via dit forum.

En dit is dan enkel en alleen gekomen door het herinstellen van mijn resolutie? (waardoor ik mijn Gconf moest veranderen)
