nog enkele 7.10 probleempjes.

Paar dagen geleden Ubuntu 7.10 geisntalleerd met Xubuntu-desktop .Weer een prachtige versie proficiat canoninal en vrijwilligers!

maar zit met 3 kleine probleempjes :

-In tekst-flash-plugins word de tekst massaal groot weergegeven waardoor dit niet leesbaar is, dit probleem heb ik niet in Feisty.

-Youtube videos en dergelijke spelen slecht af. Scherm laad traag, de knoppen in de afspeelbalk lopen over mekaar en je ziet amper beeld terwijl het geluid dan wel weer goed werkt. Ik heb de restricted areas nochtans geinstalleerd.

-tijdens het booten en/of verschijnen inlogscherm springt men scherm voor paar seconden in standby en springt darnaa weer aan alsof er niets gebeurt is, zou dit toch wel opgelost willen krijgen (ivm de eerste indruk als ik iemand ubuntu wil laten zien/kennismaken)

Je doet het voorkomen alsof er van alles mis gaat. Dan lijkt het me een goed idee om met het commando dmesg eens te kijken wat er aan foutmeldingen staat in de systeem log.

2 van de 3 hebben met browsen te maken (denk ik). Wellicht een idee om te kijken of het met een andere browser dan die je nu gebruikt wel goed gaat.

Even kijken of er updates zijn voor jouw systeem kan ook nooit kwaad. Mogelijk dat er meerdere mensen zijn met dezelfde problemen en dat ze opgelost zijn...

Met geen van allen problemen, is het dan probleem van ubuntu?

Ik update altijd van zodra er updates beschikbaar zijn, hij is dus up-to-date.
en aan het browsen ligt het ook niet..zelfde problemen met epiphany.

Ik denk dat ze de flash plugin voor Linux aan het updaten zijn ofzo.
Ik ben nu bezig om een computer te installeren, maar daar krijg ik de flash plugin niet eens geïnstalleerd :O

Ik hoop mee.

Keek even in de dmesg uitvoer. Er stond wel wat interessants tussen. Als je problemen hebt met een apparaat dan staat er al een tip in.

Dit las ik ook:
"eth0: no IPv6 routers present"
Wellicht dat internet sneller gaat als je IPv6 uitzet? Heb het niet gevolgd maar ik verwacht dat er toch heel wat providers zijn met IPv6 ondersteuning. Nu ik er over nadenk; zal de mijne eens gaan uitzoeken.
