Mic issue in Jaunty met SB Live 5.1

Avond!

Ik heb problemen met het werkend krijgen van mijn Mic in zowel skype als gnome-sound-recorder.
Ik ben reeds zover dat ik mezelf hoor op mijn headset, dus mic/driver lijkt in ieder geval te werken.

Ik heb geen bestand genaamd "/etc/asound.conf" of "~/.asoundrc". Ik zie in de volume control heel veel zaken die ik in kan stellen, maar ik weet niet in welke file(s) dit bewaard word, anders kan ik daar de inhoud van posten.

Dank bij voorbaat voor hulp en suggesties.

Heb je al een keer met een rechtermuisknop op het luidspreker-icoontje  in de alsa-mixer gekeken of er niet misschien iets afgevinkt is ?
Of dat er een schuif omlaag staat ?

Dank voor je suggestie.
Ik heb zo'n beetje elke schuif open gehad en elke mute uitgezet geloof ik.

Capture staat/stond gemute, maar als ik die toggle kan ik mezelf horen en weer muten.
