Hallo,
Ik ben nieuw in ubuntu en heb een probleem met mijn grafischekaart. Ik kan de effecten aanzetten en dvd afspelen werkt ook goed onder Hardy heron. (In gutsy kon ik de effecten niet standaard aanzetten en haperde de dvd als ik fullscreen keek.) Alleen de resolutie is echt slecht. Heb al enig research gedaan op internet en meer mensen hebben last van vergelijkbare problemen. Alleen is mijn /etc/X11/xorg.conf erg leeg.
Ik draai Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04

Omdat ik in gutsy tegen problemen aanliep met de intel GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller en las dat in Hardy heron de problemen opgelost zouden zijn ben ik over gestapt naar Hardy. Maar nu vindt ik de resolutie erg slecht bij films. Spellen heb ik nog niet geprobeerd.
Is er iemand die mij kan vertellen hoe dit kan en hoe ik dit kan oplossen? Misschien is er iemand die dit herkent?
