Ik deze week begonnen met het mezelf aanleren van linux
na velen jaren windows. Ben dus behoorlijk noob.
Ik heb een HP omnibook 4150 (PII 300 mhz) nu heb ik mijn wireless al aan de gang gekregen (asus wl100g) maar geluid zou ook zeer welkom zijn.
Ik heb de 3 pakketen gedownload die benodigd zijn van de site van alsa (driver, lib, util) maar na het uitvoeren van de ./config van de driver krijg ik de melding dat de full kernel source niet is geinstalleerd. Als het goed is is deze te downloaden bij
www.kernel.org maar sommige raden af daar te downloaden i.v.m. specifieke kernel van de distributions. Dus welke/waar moet ik de kernel vandaan halen en staat er ergens een howto hoe ik deze moet installeren. (neem aan dat compilen niet is verplicht) en eventuele verder stappen of problemen waar ik tegenaan kan lopen met het installeren van alsa.
