Ubuntu 16.04.2 use to musch cache memory.
« Gepost op: 2017/07/25, 14:31:21 »
A Ubuntu 16.04.2 (4.4.0.79-generic) cause that the Nagios plugin "check_snmp_memory -w 80 -c 90"
often give the warning:
Memory usage : 2.83 Gb used for a total of 2.93 Gb (96%) wich 111.75 Mb in buffer and 2.23 Gb in cache

The command "free" give the next output:
total           used           free      shared  buff/cache   available
Mem:        3080388      162260      106916       23000      2811212     2664940
Swap:       2095100        59244    2035856

Is it possible to limit the usage of memory for cache?
