Gaat dat dan ook met google earth enzo want daarvoor heb ik dit moeten doen :
vanalles in de terminal moeten invullen om het te kunnen installeren.
Je haal nu twee dingen doorelkaar.
1. het uitpakken van een ingepakt bestand - hoef je geen extra applicaities voor te installeren.
2. het bouwen van een applicatie vanuit de sourcebestanden, hier kun je inderdaad tegenkomen dat je extra pakketten moet toevoegen.
Sourcebestanden ( bron bestanden ) worden aangeboden om op je eigen Linux platform de applicatie te 'tunen' dat hij daar ook werkt ( simpel gezegd )
Om dan van een sourcebestand te komen tot een werkende applicaite heb je basic maar 3 commando's nodig
1. ./configure
2. make
3. sudo make install
* You run configure (you usually have to type ./configure as most people don't have the current directory in their search path). This builds a new Makefile.
* Type make This builds the program. That is, make would be executed, it would look for the first target in Makefile and do what the instructions said. The expected end result would be to build an executable program.
* Now, as root, type make install. This again invokes make, make finds the target install in Makefile and files the directions to install the program.
Google earth is ook in het software centrum beschikbaar als een 3rd party repository
