Hoi allemaal,

Dit is mijn eerste post op dit forum.
Prima discussies en hulp.
Ik gebruik Breezy sinds 2 maanden op mijn oude Dell Inspiron 7000. Die had ik bijna bij het oud vuil gezet, want met windows werd het niks.
Nu draait 'ie als een zonnetje, wlan en alles.

Behalve,...
als ik het scherm sluit gaat mijn notebook in hybernate of suspend mode.
Doe ik 'm weer open, dan werkt alles perfect, behalve mijn usb-muis.

Enig idee hoe dit komt of hoe ik de muis dan weer aan de praat krijgt zonder opnieuw op te starten?

Doe eens een lsmod voordat je suspend en post de uitvoer daarvan mee

OK, nu nog de uitvoer van lsusb :)

Het volgende kun je proberen:
Na resumen (als je muis niet werkt) overschakelen naar de console met , daar inloggen en de volgende commandos uitproberen:

sudo modprobe -r psmouse
sudo modprobe psmouse

Daarna schakel je weer terug naar de grafische omgeving met . Na enige seconden moet je muis het weer doen.

Werkt dit niet, herhaal de truc, maar dan met usbhid inplaats van psmouse.

Bij de weg: stuur de uitvoer van dmesg (zowel na resumen als na resumen en uithalen en insteken van de muis) eens mee.

Uiteraard ook na modprobe -r ook modprobe weer gedaan. Helaas.

USB-muis eruit en er weer in werkt ook niet.

Totaal niet :/

Ik denk dat je het beste een bug kunt filen op bugzilla.ubuntu.com, component linux, met de mededeling dat de usb muis driver faalt. Ben Collins (de kernel master) weet hier een stuk meer van dan iedereen op dit forum bij elkaar :)
