Heb er geen ervaring mee maar is enkel om na te gaan of het standaard progje die ubuntu gebruikt wel werkt. Omdat er in het verleden daar wat vragen rond waren. Dus een second opinion is altijd welkom zou ik zeggen.
Zoek even via google op schijf checken ubuntu (of iets in die zin)

Geeft hij in die gegevens ook aan dat er iets mis is, dan zou ik zeker zo snel mogelijk een backup maken en alvast een nieuwe schijf halen. Zoveel beschadigde sectoren betekent meestal dat je schijf aan het einde van zijn levensduur begint te raken.

ik denk dat de schijf 7 jaar oud is.dus t kan dat ze de geest gaat geven.weet wat me te doen staat.ga voor t zekerste even nakijken nog.

120GB? Dan zou ik toch, alleen als het mogelijk is, een schijf pakken die groter is. Zo duur zijn ze tegenwoordig ook niet meer. Even Googlen op jou type en je zal wel wat vinden.

nou,ik zal ze er uithalen en de pcboer zal dan wel zeggen welke ik moet nemen.ken daar nikske van
en als t niet zoveel meer kost ga ik uiteraard wat meer GB nemen.

Snap dat je in paniek was en bent, goed dat je het gefixt hebt

Harde schijf testen is prima te doen met de live-cd. Zorg wel dat je schijven niet gemount zijn. open de terminal vanaf de live-cd en typ:
sudo badblocks -v /dev/sda. dat laatste < sda > kan op jouw pc anders zijn. De -v staat voor verbose=uitvoer. Als je opeens tijdens de test allemaal cijferreeksen in de terminal ziet verschijnen, dan is het waarschijnlijk niet best met de schijf. Bij een goede schijf zie je op het einde van te test alleen maar staan: "no badblocks found" en dan is alles goed.

Let wel: Met cijferreeksen bedoel ik output die tijdens de test plotseling verschijnt, van boven naar beneden, de "count (het tellen) is altijd zichtbaar en geeft enigszinds een indicatie hoeveel sectoren hij al geteld heeft.
