ben mijn hogere resolutie weer kwijt

Het is me wat met dat opstarten
de ene keer zijn de balken er niet
laatste dagen wel weer.
dan  ben ik mijn hogere resolutie weer kwijt
start ie op 800*600 en via systeem voorkeuren
schermresolutie kan ik hem niet hoger zetten.
stabiel werken kan ik dat niet noemen.
relatief kleine dingen maar gaat op den duur toch
irriteren.

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

De resolutie waarvan jij weet dat ze werkt selecteren met de pijltjes en actieveren met de spatiebalk. ctrl-alt-backspace.
Resolutie terug selecteren in systeem voorkeuren. Klaar
Sla dat commando ergens op want je hebt dit soms nodig blijkbaar.

Echter ik heb - een beetje roekeloos- ENVY gedownload en geinstalleerd en gedraaid
het zou je NVIDIA kaart herkennen en de rest alles automatisch doen maar nu zit
ik automatisch in de sh** :
en nu crasht ie en kan de Nvidia module in de kernel niet laten en zit ik behoorlijk
in de soep. Gelukkig heb ik dual boot .
Kan ik in de terminal mode waar ik wel in kan je commando nu intikken of
moet er iets heel anders gebeuren  .....

Envy past teveel aan aan uw systeem waar we niets van weten.
Een clean install lijkt mij de enige goede oplossing.
