Printer Probleem HP PSC1210 drukt niks af

Zojuist maar even mijn printer aangesloten via systeem beheer printers. Hier kon ik kiezen uit de HP PSC1210 of de hp_psc_1210 beide geprobeerd ze werden geinstalleerd maar tijdens het afdrukken werd er niks op papier gezet.

Toen hier wat rond gesnuffeld kwam ik deze site tegen:

On Debian Sid (Unstable), everything (scanning and printing) works fine with:

1. hpoj, sane and cupsys deb packages installed with apt-get;
2. hpijs 1.5  COMPILED from sources from HP (http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/) (the hpijs
deb package from unstable seems to have a problem for now (I've filled a bug report on
2004-01-31);
3. in CUPS configuration, you have to choose the port ptal:/mlc:usb:psc_1200_series and at the
next step, the HP PSC 1210 Foomatic/hpijs driver;
4. for scanning, you have to uncomment hpoj in the /etc/sane.d/dll.conf file.


bij stap 1alles geinstalleerd wat er nog niet was
Stap 2 het compilen snap ik niet. Maar ik heb wel via die link iets gedownload wat de .ppt heeft en m daarmee geinstalleerd. De .ppt zou de driver zijn?

stap 3 moet ik dan waar ik het type kan kiezen de 1200 kiezen?

Want nadat ik m met de .ppt had geinstalleerd werkte hij wel maar weer werd niks afgedrukt. Je hoort de inktpatronen wel bewegen enzo maar er word niks op papier gezet.

Maar dan vraagt cupps om een passwoord welke moet ik pakken of hoe moet ik die aanmaken?

Hij kan er dus niet mee communiceren wat gaat er fout?

Ok sorry ben ik weer ik heb het probleem gevonden maar kan het niet oplossen!

Het probleem zit m als volgt:
Ik heb de HPLIP Toolbox geinstalleerd en via daar kom ik ook op de cups pagina. Tot mijn verbazing staat daar dat hij in kleur print en niet zwart. Als ik dit wil veranderen heb ik een login naam en pw nodig maar de mijne werken niet. Hoe los ik dit op??
