Source code van de Ubuntu installer?

Ik ben de naam kwijt van de Ubuntu installer op de live cd. Is deze open source en toegankelijk op GitHub of gitlab? Ik wil het vergelijken met mijn eigen script.

Wat ik mij afvraag over het installatieproces: Hoe hardware detecteren en hardware afhankelijke installatie uitvoeren.
