Bluetooth aan de praat krijgen voor Nokia 6070

Hallo,


ik heb enkele weken geleden een Nokia 6070 gekocht. Mijn vriend heeft een Nokia 6111. We hebben vorig jaar voor een andere gsm een Bluetooth USB dongle gekocht. Er zit een klein Bluetooth usb-stickje bij en een heel klein cd-rommeke.
Daarjuist zijn wij foto 's gaan trekken met de gsm en die moeten we doormailen naar iemand. Ik heb Windows in een vitrual machine staan van VMware. We hebben ook een gegevensoverdrachtkabel voor de gsm, waarmee je foto 's en muziek zou moeten op de computer zetten van de gsm enzo.
De computer herkent de kabel niet in Linux (we hebben Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy gibbon) en niet in het virtual machine. We hebben eerder al gemerkt als we in het virtual machine werken en er moet iets aangesloten op de computer dat we in windows willen doen, herkent hij niets.

Graag hadden wij die gegevenskabel en/of de bluetooth aan de praat gekregen. We weten echter niet hoe dat moet. De kleine cd-rom van Bluetooth is een .exe bestand, het gaat niet open, ook niet met wine. In onze Windows gaat het ook niet.

Wie kan ons helpen zodat we met onze gsm toch foto 's enzo van de gsm naar de computer kunnen zetten? We zouden graag de computer houden zoals hij is, zonder dat we er Windows nog apart op moeten installeren.

Heb je USB forwarding opstaan in VMWare? Zo ja, heb je VMWare vertelt dat hij de bluetooth-stick moet aankoppelen in de vm?

Euh...

VM -> Apparaten -> USB -> en dan op de naam van het apparaat klikken dat je wilt aankoppelen. Allee, denk ik...

USB moet ingeschakeld zijn voor dat vm.

sorry hoor maar ik krijg niet gevonden wat jij bedoelt. Ik ben op alles aan 't zoeken geweest, als ik het virtual machine opgestart heb, heb ik bij allles gekeken wat ik in de bovenste balk zie staan (file, edit, view, host VM, tabs, help) en bij overal waar je voorkeuren en settings kan aanduiden. Niks te vinden over USB.
Ook in windows gekeken bij configuratiescherm- systeem- hardware- apparaatbeheer. Nergens iets van usb te vinden. Ook heb ik al de wizard hardware geprobeerd in windows, niks helpt.

Hallo,


ik ben juist aan 't kijken geweest in de uitleg van mijn gsm (Nokia 6070), op de website van Nokia. Kan het misschien zijn dat mijn gsm geen bluetooth heeft? Ik zie er in elk geval niks bij staan van bluetootk. Wel Infrarood en nog een paar dingen, maar niks te vinden over bluetooth.

Weet er dan misschien iemand hoe ik het aan de praat kan krijgen dat met die gegevensoverdrachtkabel er wel gegevens en foto 's kunnen overgezet worden? Nu herkent zowel Linux (Ubuntu 7.10) als mijn virtual Windows machine het niet. Ik moet dan Nokia PC suite downloaden en in mijn windows op het virtual machine gaat dat voor een stuk, tot er komt dat je de telefoon aan de computer moet aansluiten. Dan doet hij niks meer omdat de computer dat kabeltje niet ziet of niet herkent. Weet iemand hoe dat wel gaat?
Daarjuist ben ik bij een vriendin in haar Windows foto 's van mijn gsm op haar computer gaan zetten en ze dan doorgemaild naar mezelf, dat ging allemaal direct goed van de eerste keer.

Ik ben benieuwd of iemand hier iets mee weet te doen.

Je mob heeft inderdaad geen bleuthooth.
Maar eens voor het eerst VM geïnstalleerd om te kijken. Volgens mij hoor je usb apparaat wel te kunnen vinden. Ga naar het menu VM > Removable devices > USB en klik op het usb-apparaat. Als dit nergens in VM staat moet je misschien VM updated? of overnieuw installeren.

Als je het menu dus gewoon niet te vinden is is het misschien wel goed om gewoon VW overnieuw te installeren.

bedankt voor je raad. Ik heb dat gekeken, dat staat er inderdaad: VM-removable devices-USB. Zowel als de gsm aan de computer hangt met die datakabel, als dat hij niet eraan hangt, blijft daar bij USB (leeg) staan. Ik kan er niet op klikken, dat is lichtgrijs. Ik heb bij Help ook eens gedaan "Check for new updates" maar die zijn er niet.

Ik moet wel zeggen, ik had eens problemen met windows erop te zetten in een virtual machine (eerst nog met Innotek virtual box) en toen gaf iemand mij de raad om VMWare te installeren. Dat heb ik dan gedaan via de link die de persoon gaf, namelijk http://www.digiplace.nl/pivot/entry.php?id=835
Nu werkt VMWare heel goed door dat op die manier te installeren.

Wat denk je, moet ik VMware terug installeren, of moet ik ergens anders nog een instellling doen om te zorgen dat dat wel gaat? Of zou ik in Ubuntu toch met die kabel kunnen werken? Je moet dan wel Nokia PC suite installeren en dat gaat goed tot het punt dat je de gsm aan de computer moet aansluiten. Dan herkent zowel Ybuntu als VMWare het niet dat er een toestel aan de computer gekoppeld word.

Alvast heel vriendelijk bedankt voor je hulp, hopelijk komt er een oplossing.

Dat bedoelde ik dus ook eigenlijk, alleen wist ik de benamingen van de menu's niet meer...

Steek het ding eens in en klik rechts op je VM (links van waar je de vm ziet draaien) en klik op "upgrade hardware". Wel eerst je VM uitschakelen!

Ik ken je mobiel niet goed. Maar kijk eens rond in je mobiel of manual van je mob en zoek naar een optie waar je kan kiezen wat het mobiel doet als hij in word ingeplugd in een computer. Mijn mobiel kan ik als usb stick laten functioneren dan werkt hij ook onder ubuntu voor mij.
Heb je trouwens al getest of de kabel/usb poort niet gewoon stuk is? Probeer eens met een ander kabeltje of in een andere usb poort.
Gebruik je misschien een usb verlengstuk? Dat kan ook problemen opleveren, best is om meteen intepluggen in de usb poort.

Het enige wat bij mij wou werken was een Micro-SD-kaartlezer-stick kopen (10Euro) om de foto's en de muziek van en naar mijn mobieltje te krijgen.
Veruit de simpelste oplossing.

Als er een micro-CD in je Nokia zit tenminste,...

Hallo allemaal,


ik heb al gekeken voor upgrade hardware, dat moet niet gebeuren want hij zegt dat de VMware up to date is, er is geen nieuwere versie.

Ik hbe het gisterenavond bij een vriendin van mij gezien wat het deed als je in Windows de gsm aan dat kabeltje hangt en dan aan de computer: dat ging perfect. Je moest dan Nokia pc suite downloaden, de uitleg volgen, een en ander installeren en dan vroeg hij om de gsm op de computer aan te sluiten. Dat gebeurde bij haar allemaal heel goed. Probleem is alleen dat mijn virtual machine niks herkent als je iets aan de computer hangt en Ubuntu herkent dat kabeltje ook niet, geen van beiden geven enige melding als je dat aansluit op de computer.

Wat een micro-cd in de gsm is, weet ik niet. Mijn model, een Nokia 6070, is een nogal recent model denk ik maar verre van de duursten (89 euro was het in de solden) dus ik vermoed dat die wel wat snufjes heeft maar er niet direct van uitpuilt. Ik denk niet dat daar een micro-cd in zit. Op de uitleg van de gsm op de nokia-website, bij de technische kenmerken, zie ik er toch nergens iets van.
Ik heb ook juist in het boekje gekeken, daar staat geen uitleg in over wat hij doet als hij word ingeplugd aan een computer.

Ik gebruik geen USB verlengstuk. Ik heb het nu in een andere USB-poort gestoken en normaal werken die allebei goed, ik heb mijn mp3-speler er vroeger al ingestoken en daar kon ik muziek op zetten.

Heeft niemand dan zo 'n ding aan het werk gekregen, buiten Christiaan? Als mijn gsm geen micro-cd heeft zal zijn oplossing ook niet werken. Het is allemaal wel vervelend, het was beter dat je voor niks nog Windows nodig hebt maar in dit geval was het een zegen om een vriendin te hebben met Windows, voor de foto 's van de gsm te kunnen halen en te mailen naar mezelf.

Sluit de nokia eens en en ga dan naar terminal. Typ daar lsusb staat daar je nokia tussen? haal nu eens de nokia er af en type lsusb in terminal. Zit er verschil in wat de uitkomst is?

bedankt, dat commando kende ik niet. Dit is de uitkomst ervan, bij het eerste stukje stak de gsm met de kabel in de usb-poort, met het tweede stukje had ik hem losgekoppeld:

In elk geval kunnen we nu uitsluiten dat de usb poort beschadigt is.
Okay laten we iets nieuws gaan proberen, ga eens naar applications add/remove (in het nederlands iets van programmas emmhh toevoegen en verwijderen)
dan zoek je gnokii op en installeer je die.

Pfff, okay laten we het eerst gewoon proberen. je kan hem zoals boven installeren of in terminal:  sudo apt-get install gnokii
Dan sluit je je mob aan en ga je naar applications -> accessoires -> gnokii
Hij hoort nu automatisch verbinding te maken met je mobiel, als dit niet werkt laat het dan weten proberen we het verder,

Bleh irritant dat ik het niet zelf kan testen, najah hoop dat het werkt.

ik denk dat het niet werkt. Ik heb het programma geïnstalleerd, de gsm aan de computer gehangen met dat kabeltje, dan gnokii geopend, je ziet connecting daar in en na een aantal seconden is dat weg, dan zie ik er nergens nog iets van.

Okay eerst ga je naar /etc en zoek je het bestand gnokiirc op die kopier je naar je /home/gebruikersnaam/

Open gnokiirc (degene in je username folder) en wis alles.

Nu zet je voor gnokii een .
zodat het dus .gnokii word (dit zorgt er voor dat het bestand verborgen is als je het nu terug wilt zien moet je in de folder naar view en dan show hidden files, zal anders in nl heten.)
Probeer nu eens met mob aangesloten gnokii te starten?

heel vriendelijk bedankt. Spijtig genoeg, ik durf het amper zeggen maar het werkt nog niet. Ik heb jouw uitleg netjes gevolgd, voor de zekerheid 2 keer omdat ik dacht dat ik eerst iets verkeerd had gedaan maar het werkt nog niet.

Voor zover ik kan achterhalen ondersteund gnokii niet het model 6070.

Wanneer je in gnokii kiest voor het (default) "model=6510" werkt het wel met de 6070.

als je kijkt naar wat ik haar vroeg om aantepassen zie je ook dat daar 6510 staat:)
helaas is het moeilijk want ik heb zelf dit mobiel niet dus kan zelf niet testen.
