geen filmpjes in firefox

Hallo,

Ik heb sinds kort ubuntu en ik ben helemaal tevreden, echter heb ik nog een dingetje wat niet werkt.

Als ik bij op google video zit kan ik niet in firefox filmpjes kijken, (de embed filmpjes?) wie weet waar dit aan kan liggen?

Youtube werkt overigens wel als ik via de site kijk, maar de embed films niet?

Met de mplayer plugin kan je zowat iedere stream(audio en video) afspelen.
De plugin kan je via synaptic downloaden.

Als je de mplayer plugin wil gebruiken dan wel de totem en de andere plugins verwijderen ; anders werken deze elkaar tegen.

En de mplayer plugin goed instellen; anders stopt de plugin iedere keer.(zie hieronder voor het instellen van de plugin)

Bij het afspelen met mplayer in firefox moet je rechtsklikken op het mplayer schermpje in firefox (het streamschermpje) ,configureren kiezen en dan bij de video instelling  "x11"kiezen. Dan op ok klikken en opnieuw het filmpje afspelen. Met deze instelling van Mplayer kan je haast iedere stream afsplelen. Ook kan de de cache op ongeveer 750 zetten. Dan spelen bepaalde streams beter.

Je moet ook nog het volgende installeren met behulp van de terminal.(of via synaptic)
In de terminal intypen.

sudo apt-get install w32codecs

Pakket w32codecs is niet beschikbaar, hoewel er naar verwezen wordt door
een ander pakket. Mogelijk betekent dit dat het pakket ontbreekt,
verouderd is, of enkel beschikbaar is van een andere bron
E: Pakket w32codecs heeft geen installeerbare kandidaat

Als je de W32 codecs wil installeren ,doe je het volgende:

Op de pagina even scrollen naar " Adding the Repositories"

Dan twee regels met kopieren en plakken toevoegen.
De eerste regel is de pakketbron (kies een regel met de naam van je versie.b.v als je gutsy gebruik neem je regel met gutsy erin) ;
dan enter

en dan regel twee (de laatste regel) met de sleutel.
dan enter

Dan het commando : sudo apt-get install w32codecs

En je hoeft nooit pakket bronnen toe te voegen omdat die al in de sources.list staan.

Enkelt staan ze uit wanneer je deze melding krijgt.
dwz er staat een # voor de regel.

Maar eerst gaan we een backup maken van de sources.list.
sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.backup

Als je je oude backup wilt terugzetten doe je:
sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.backup /etc/apt/sources.list

typ nu in dit Terminalvenster:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Waarschijnlijk krijg je zoiets te zien:

Je ziet dan dat door die # de regels niet gebruikt kunnen worden.

Voer hierna het volgende commando uit:

wget -q http://packages.medibuntu.org/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key addInstalleer nu de pakketten ubuntu-restricted-extras, libdvdcss2, w32codecs voor de multimedia ondersteuning.

krijg nu de foutmelding na het updaten
"W: GPG error: http://packages.medibuntu.org gutsy Release: De volgende ondertekeningen konden niet geverifiëerd worden omdat de publieke sleutel niet beschikbaar is: NO_PUBKEY 2EBC26B60C5A2783"

Dan registreer je de KEY door dit erin te zetten.
gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv 2EBC26B60C5A2783 && gpg --export --armor 2EBC26B60C5A2783 | sudo apt-key add -

In ieder geval moet je nu alles kunnen installeren wat je wilt.
