hey ;)

ik wil van men nieuw GUI (xfce),een mac maken :)
nuja,de looks ervan,

ik gebruik XFCE nog maar een paar dagen,dus van ervaring kan ik niet spreken ;)

maar ik heb nog een probleem,dat ik graag opgelost wil hebben (deuu :))

als ik XFCE opstart staat (bij desktop preferences),
"allow XFCE to manage the desktop"
uitgevinkt,

maar als ik het dan weer aanvink
en dan men achtergrond verander,is het weer uitgevinkt :(

en als ik nu een achtergrond verander,staat die achtergrond er ook bij men "gnome-versie"
(ik had eerst ubuntu,en daarna heb ik de "core-versie" van Xubuntu geinstallleerd)

hopelijk kunnen jullie me helpen :)

het vinkje gaat alleen weg als ik rechts op een afbeelding klik in Firefox,en dan "als achtergrond instellen"

ik geloof dat de core-versie geen desktop manager voor XFCE installeerd.
Ik draai alleen XFCE tegenwoordig.

ok,

en hoe kan ik dan die desktop manager voor XFCE downloaden ?

in Synaptic vind ik niets speciaals als ik op "desktop manager xfce" zoek :s

ik had al de pakketten onder die naam (3) al geinstalleerd,dus heb ik
xfce4-mcs-manager geherinstalleerd,maar dat helpt nx :(

ik heb in XFCE een map aangemaakt,en die staat er nu ook op het gnomebureaublad :(

ohw wat irritant...sorry maar ik weet je echt op dit gebied niet echt verder te helpen.
Ik draai maar 1 smaakje (XFCE, KDE, Gnome) per computer.

Mischien dat niet de voor XFCE benodigde libs geinstalleerd zijn voor bepaalde programma's voor gnome. Dat kan wanneer je eerst al allerlei programma's in gnome hebt, die zijn met de libs voor gnome geinstalleerd...

Maar wanneer netjes voor elkaar kan het er bijv. zo uitzien :)

Het spijt me, ik moet je het antwoord schuldig blijven.
Wat ik wel kan zeggen is dat ik sterk vermoed dat het komt omdat je in dezelfde installatie ook gnome draait.
Maar een oplossing heb ik niet...
Mischien dat het helpt om, xubuntu-desktop te installeren?
Het heeft echt niet veel extra software...software wat tevens ook in ubuntu-desktop zit, zoals firefox, wordt niet dubbel ge

het probleem is er niet op verbeterd :(
in tegen deel: nu krijg ik 2 foutmeldingen en nu werkt firefox ook niet meer :(
