Xserver geeft fout op ATI X800

Gast:
Ik wil Ubuntu aan de gang krijgen op mn pc,
maar ik heb in mn pc een (Club3d) ATI Radeon X800 (R430) PCIE zitten.
Ik heb hievoor de drivers van ATI geinstalleerd.

Nu loopt ubuntu nogsteeds vast op de Xserver.

Jep breezy (368)..
heb zo onderhand hele zooi how-tos afgewerkt..
nog geen werkende gevonden

nu met deze bezig:

helaas loop ik daar weer vast , op
sudo sh ./ati.... -- buildpkg Ubuntu/breezy
krijg een error message, map X11R6 niet gevonden, ATI error code 256

Kan simpeler, voeg dit aan /etc/apt/sources.list toe

deb http://seveas.ubuntulinux.nl/ ubuntu-seveas ati

en doe:

sudo apt-get install fglrx-control xorg-driver-fglrx fglrx-kernel-2.6.12-10-686 linux-686
--- Einde van code ---
(vervang 686 door k7 als je een amd pc hebt)

Vervang dan ati door fglrx in /etc/X11/xorg.conf en start opnieuw op.
