Majestic / lpg_uninstall niet te verwijderen....

Hoi

Ik had de game "Majestic" geinstalleerd, deze installeert eveneens lgp_uninstall en lpg_update.

Er werden dus drie mappen gemaakt (Majestic-demo, LGP_Uninstall, LGP_Update) en eveneens drie snelkoppelingen.

Wanneer ik echter lgp_uninstall dubbelklik (in de voorbestemde map), gebeurt er niets.
De rechten zijn aangepast zodat het bestand kan uitgevoerd worden.

De drie toepassingen zijn te zien in het Menu > Toepassingen > Spelletjes.

Via Ubuntu Softwarecentrum of Systeem > Beheer > Synaptic pakketbeheer is hier echter niets van terug te vinden.

Wanneer ik ze manueel verwijder (rechtsklikken en naar de prullemand verplaatsen), blijven de verwijzingen in het Toepassingsmenu staan.

Iemand enig idee, hoe ik deze toepassing dan wél kan verwijderen en waarom de scripts niet werkten?

Wat is de extensie van de uninstall file? sh, bin of iets anders? Een script start je normaal in de  terminal die wel op het juiste path staat. Bijv. sudo sh /home/eigenaar/spel/ uninstall Maar ja eerst maar je antwoord afwachten.

Wat is de extensie van de uninstall file? sh, bin of iets anders?

In de map LGP_Uninstall, staan twee uninstalls, namelijk :

lgp_uninstall => uitvoerbaar bestand (application/x-executable)

en

uninstall => shellscript (application/x-shellscript)


Het uitvoeren van sudo sh /home/patrick/LGP_Uninstall/uninstall

Geeft de volgende melding : Could not open product information for -L

(Even vermelden dat ik een absolute leek ben met Linux   )

exit at this point, but once the button has been pressed, the operation
may not be cancelled.

You may also run it with 'lgp_uninstall product_name' to uninstall a
product (and any components added to that product) directly from the
command-line.
