Xorg.CONF is dit nodig?

Ik heb 1 pentablet, de WP8060. Nu zie ik mijn XORG.CONF dat er meerdere staan. Ik begrijp dat ze de WACOM automatisch installeren. Mijn vraag is of ik de overige kan wissen, en of het zin heeft dit soort dingen te doen (dat wissen dus).

Bij mijn Wacom heb ik ze wel nodig.
Ik alleen die WizardPen Tablet er niet bij staan en ook nog nooit ervan gehoord.
Weet je hoe die erbij is gekomen?

Als je overigens zeker wilt weten of je die regels weg kunt halen, maak dan gewoon eerst even een backup:
"sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup" en haal daarna die regels weg.
Even de X-server (of voor het gemak je hele pc) opnieuw starten en testen of het werkt zoals het moet.
Werkt het niet goed na je aanpassing dan zet je de backup terug door:
"sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup /etc/X11/xorg.conf" in te typen.
Daarna weer je X-server opnieuw starten en alles is weer als vanouds.

Ik weet niet of je dit al weet, maar in plaats van de regels weg te halen kun je er ook een # voorzetten.

Die WIZARDPEN is van mijzelf, die heb ik er handmatig bij moeten zetten. Ik vraag me alleen af of ik hier dit soort dingen gewoon kan weghalen. Ik gebruik geen Wacom oid. Maar je hebt gelijk, ik moet het gewoon proberen.

Die drie secties zijn niet gelijk maar er is er één voor de pen zelf, één voor het gummetje en één voor de cursor.
Ik heb zelf nooit iets anders gebruikt dan Wacom (onder Ubuntu tenminste) dus ik weet ook niet of andere merken er ook drie nodig hebben.
