Waar vind ik de GUI updates voor ClamTK virusscanner (grafische gebruikersinterf

Als ik update voor ClamTK virusscanner krijg ik wel de updates voor de virusdefinties, maar niet de updates voor   GUI updates (grafische gebruikersinterface) . Er wordt wel aangegeven dat er nieuwere versie beschikbaar is. Maar mijn vraag is waar dan en evt. onder welk kopje en naam

Ik heb deze http://sourceforge.net/projects/clamtk/files/ClamTk/4.31/clamtk_4.31-1_all.deb/download link niet verder "afgelopen" Ik ben er dus niet zeker van dat het het hele antwoord op jouw vraag is. Omdat ik zelf - wegens dualboot - ook ClamAV gebruik, een vraag: waarom wil je alles via externe bronnen updaten? Als je geheel binnen Synaptic en de Update manager blijft, word je correct genoeg "up to date" gehouden. Als je zelf gaat zoeken en installeren, MOET je ook zelf alle updates bijhouden!!

Ik haak hier even aan, want ik heb ook een vraag m.b.t. het updaten van ClamTK.

Als ik in Synaptic kijk, heb ik de juiste en laatste versie (4.33-1).
Echter, op het scherm van ClamTK blijven de Antivirus-engine en GUI-versie altijd rood.
Klik ik op Zoeken naar updates dan krijg ik bij de GUI de mededeling dat er een nieuwere versie beschikbaar is en bij de Antivirus-engine staat dat deze verouderd is 

Hoe zit het nu, dan wel, wat is juist?

Van de GUI trek ik me niets aan.

Maar wat jij laat zien, zie ik nergens bij mijn scanner. Ook niet dat ie update o.i.d.

Te vinden op je eigen machine (als maar klikken) via:
Locaties (links boven) > Computer > Bestandssysteem > var > log > clamav > freshclam.log (te openen met "Gedit" of andere tekstverwerker)

Ga bij en voor jezelf even na, of je op dat moment de computer (of de netwerkverbinding)hebt afgezet. Bij mij is dat de normale oorzaak van update-interrupts.

Nee, niets uit of afgezet. Misschien dat de updater van ClamTK nog bezig is terwijl ik dat niet zie/kan zien? Zal een volgende keer eens langer wachten en dan daarna weer die logging opzoeken.

Ben weer wat aan het proberen geweest. ClamTK volledig verwijderd (via Softwarecentrum) en opnieuw geïnstalleerd via Synaptic. Ook de ClamAV nu er bij gedaan.
Vreemd is echter dat ik nu ineens de versie 4.25 heb, ipv de eerdere 4.33. Op internet vind ik dat de 4.35 er ook al is, en de 4.36 er binnenkort aankomt.
Ik krijg echter bij GUI nog steeds de mededeling dat er een nieuwere versie is, klik ik op update, gebeurt er niks  
De virisrdefinities zijn wel bij t/m vandaag geeft hij aan.

Als dezelfde stelling voor de derde keer dreigt te onstaan met dezelfde spler aan zet, is het pat.
