Dear friends, about an year ago I wrote in many Linux forums of all the world asking you to participate in a survey about three-dimensional interfaces' utilization in Linux desktop environments. That survey was part of an ampler article about three-dimensional GUIs cultural implications, especially in connection with some geographical concepts related to 3D worlds and videogames. Now the article has been published in AETHER, Journal of media Geography (California State University) and can be freely accessed here: http://geogdata.csun.edu/~aether/pdf/volume_02/andreucci.pdf
I thank all of you who helped me answering to the survey and also giving me suggestions and ideas.
Best,
