microfoon controleren

Hallo allen,

Ik heb een laptop met een interne microfoon. Nu lukt het me niet om een opname te maken.
Zou iemand me kunnen helpen om uit te vinden of de microfoon nog werkt of niet ?
Hoe kom ik daar achter ?? Werkt onder Xfce.ubuntu 20.04

Heb het in audacity geprobeerd maar geen resultaat.

Audioinstellingen controleren of je microfoon bij de inputbronnen te zien is. Anders kan je Pulseaudio Volume Control installeren, waar je meer detail hebt over wat herkend wordt, en verkeerd ingestelde bronnen kan wijzigen.

Sorry even deze post aangepast. Pavucontrol had ik al geinstalleerd dus dat is gebeurd. Ik zie daar wel een microfoontje staan en het volume staat normaal

En in pulseaudio staat  bij input devices de port op internal microphone.

Ik realiseer me dat geluidsinstellingen een nogal  uitgebreid topic is zo ben ik achtergekomen.

Het blijft vreemd dat ik wel kan skypen met geluid.

Dan is het toch onlogisch dat het gebruiken van een simpel progje zoals audio recorder wel opnamen
oplevert maar geen enkel geluid. Ook tijdens het opnemen wordt er in impulsaudio geen opnameweergave weergegeven onder recording.
Voor de eerste keer nog in alsa mixer gekeken maar volgens mij staat daar alles goed, voor zover ik kan inschatten.

In pulse audio zie ik onder tab input devices Monitor of Dummy Output. Silence base slaat wel uit.
