club 3d geluidskaart

hallo allemaal

ik ben sinds kort op mijn computer die ik gebruik voor films en opslag enz overgegaan van Windows 7 naar ubuntu 10.04 (64 bits)  maar ik heb geen geluid

ik heb een Club 3d theatron agrippa geluidskaart maar ubuntu ziet deze dus niet ik kan verder ook nergens een driver vinden ik heb gewoon de allernieuwste kernel en updates

heb voor de zekerheid maar alvast lspci uitgevoerd

dit is de uitkomst

zoals je kunt zien ziet ie wel een audio device maar dat is gewoon mijn videkaart die met hdmi aan mijn tv vast zit maar aangezien ik alleen dvi aansluitingen op mijn videkaart heb zitten kan die daar geen geluid door geven


heeft iemand van jullie toevallig ervaring met deze geluidskaart of weet iemand of er ergens drivers voor te vinden zijn.

Kan je in de terminal dit commando typen grep Codec /proc/asound/card0/codec#*

Bij mij ziet het er zo uit:

Codec: Realtek ALC888

En bij jou?

P.S. club 3d geluidskaart staat in de titel en dat is een merknaam van ATI, maar dat zien we vanzelf uit het commando.

alleen is dat volgens mij mijn onboard geluidskaart aangezien ik ook een nvidia chipset heb

die club 3d geluidskaart waar ik het over heb zit bij mij gewoon los in een pci slot en zit met een optische spdif kabel aan mijn home cinema set verbonden

Schakel je onboard kaart eens uit in de BIOS. Bij het opstarten op DEL of F2 drukken, staat meestal ook onderaan bij het eerste scherm wat je ziet. Als je het boekje nog hebt van het moederbord/BIOS staat wel beschreven waar die optie staat.

heb mijn geluidskaart uitgeschakelt en nog een keer een lspci uitgevoerd en dan krijg ik de volgende ouput

die nvidia audio device is nu idd weg dus dat was dan waarschijnlijk mijn onboard geluid

nu staat er bijna onderaan de lijst nog 01:0a.0 Multimedia audio controller: C-Media Electronics Inc CM8738 (rev 10)

ik dacht mischine is dat hem maar daar krijg ik tot nu toe geen geluid uit ik heb via system preferences sound bij hardware allerlei opties geprobeerd maar er gebeurt niks

Kan je nog een keer in de terminal dit commando typen grep Codec /proc/asound/card0/codec#*


En ook dit commando aplay -l (l=de kleine letter L)

Deze chip zit er dus in CMI8768 Heb je pulseaudio of gebruik je alsa?

ik heb eigenlijk geen idee 

hoe kan ik daar achterkomen ??

Even zoeken in Synaptic of Ubuntu softwarecentrum op alsa of pulseaudio.

en volgens mijn software centrum gebruik ik pulsaudio
